One of the things I love about photography is that you never know where you might wind up. This was a first for us, because we went on a trail ride to take some engagement pics. We have taken pictures with horses before but always in a corral.

Some times things just work out, we wound up at Butler’s just by chance and we couldn’t of asked for a better day. There just happen to not be a wedding and the weather couldn’t have been better. It was just meant to be.

Ryan and Amanda Engagement at Sam Houston University

We had a great time with Ryan and Amanda, They are currently students at Sam Houston university in Huntsville. They knew of a great spot on campus for their engagement pictures. We got to meet their dogs which are big part of their life and we had fun sprinkling a little hint of Disney into their pictures. Enjoy!!!

They wanted to visit their high school because it was were they met and 10 years later they are getting married. We were hoping to do sunrise pictures on the beach but the weather didn’t cooperate with us. We moved up to the Strand and had an amazing morning of empty streets and great light. This was the first time for us to shoot the strand in the morning and it was a lot of fun.

A week ago we tried to do pictures at two different locations and while we were moving to the second location a bunch of clouds rolled in and killed the day. Ernesto and Tara have already started their family together and what a beautiful family. We got to spend an afternoon exploring the grounds of the Royal Oaks Country club.What a beautiful place and what a beautiful couple. They really do look amazing together, we did some pictures with formal attire and then we had some fun with casual clothes. I think if GQ sees these they will want some for their next issue.

Eric and Rendi’s engagement session at League City Park

Eric and Rendi have a very playful relationship. They seem to love poking at each other in a good way, right down to the fact that he is a Cowboy and she is a Texan.
When the kids start coming along, just educate them about both teams and then let them make their own decision about what team they want to follow.
